Our Primary Care Business Support and Development Unit helps PCNs (Primary Care Networks under our oversight) deliver sustainability, efficiency and resilience to GP Practices so that clinical staff can focus on patient care while operational pressures are managed. This includes support with recruitment and team management, finance, strategic planning and delivery, as well as support for practices and practice managers.
As part of our service at Coventry and Ruby GP Alliance we recruit approved roles under the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS).

Our Finance team plays a key role in supporting the smooth operation of PCNs by overseeing the management and distribution of funds to practices, processing monthly ARRS claims, and preparing quarterly financial reports. They are also responsible for handling and paying invoices, while ensuring that funds received from the ICB and PCSE are managed efficiently. This helps maintain accurate and seamless financial operations across the network.
