We work closely with local Primary Care Networks (groups of GP Practices) in Coventry and Warwickshire North to provide Enhanced Access clinics. These are clinics that provide additional general practice appointments outside of the usual opening hours between 6:30pm to 8pm (virtual) Monday to Friday, and 9am to 5pm, face to face, on Saturdays.
The Enhanced Access service is available to all ages to attend appointments, making it an effective way for all patients to be seen and supported outside of “core” working hours. All patients registered with a GP practice are entitled to evening and weekend appointments during these times. Clinics will vary by location and time.
Referral criteria
You cannot refer yourself to this service. Referrals must be made by a General Practice (GP) assistant.
Please contact your GP surgery to check if they are registered with this service. If they are, a GP assistant can arrange a referral for you.
