About our first contact physiotherapist role
First contact physiotherapist are here to support patients with any physical body pain such as back, muscle and joint pains. Most of the issues that are seen by physiotherapists are most likely not needed to be seen by GP as well. They will make sure they take care with their patients and assess any symptoms, diagnose the condition and consider any existing medical issues. Depending on the issue, they will recommend the right type and level of exercise that will support the patient’s needs.
