About our nursing associates

The nursing associate is there to apply their knowledge and support to patients, which helps provide a bridge between healthcare support workers and registered nurses. They provide their deliver their work with person-centred care across a range of clinical and social settings. They also provide support to both types of patients that are suffering with severe mental and physical health problems, ensuring patients receive the best support and care possible.

Nursing training associates

Along with the nurse associates role, there is also a role for people to enter the career via the role of nurse training associates. They apply the same skill set and work to increase their knowledge within the field.  An nurse training associate will have the same responsibilities as a Nursing associate but with a lead nurse being by your side to ensure help is given to them at the start of their professional journey.
