Admiral Nurse Service

What is an Admiral Nurse?

CRGPA’s Admiral Nurses are a team of dedicated dementia specialist nurses who provide free, expert advice and compassionate support to families and carers. They help people navigate the challenges of caring for a loved one with dementia, offering guidance, practical strategies, and a listening ear. Working across Coventry, Rugby and North Warwickshire, the service supports families from the point of diagnosis through to end of life care.

The Admiral Nurses help reduce fear and confusion by providing emotional support, helping carers build confidence, and empowering families with coping strategies that work for them. No carer should face dementia alone. CRGPA’s admiral nurses work in partnership with Dementia UK charity.
